The reason for such scrutiny, is because of the other guy. He has been known to change ID's to sell stuff. He has ripped off a lot of people. So, when we/I see a new ID with no post that only joined to sell stuff selling the same stuff as this guy, only listing East Texas as a location, with no email address to send questions to, it looks suspecious. This is not a personal attack on you. This board is a great place to get and share info as well as selling stuff. However, the majority of people selling stuff have been on the board for a long time and didn't join to sell stuff. Please understand that the members of this board are great people and will do all we can to protect the integrity and our pocket books as much as we can.
Now, about the dash pads. Do you have any pictures?

Rose,
If your in fact not him, don't take it personally. There's a couple of "shady" guys that just so happen to be from Texas that are ripping people off - taking their money and then either not sending the parts or sending a pile of crap that just gets thrown away. They continuously get caught coming back to the board as a different user. If you were from anywhere else you wouldn't be getting this. Being from Texas, I know that the majority of the populus is honest and hardworking individuals. Again, we're not trying to ridicule you - just trying to keep from getting burnt. From the sound of all the posts - it sounds like there's folks there locally that could take a look at a bezel and a dash pad and tell their originality. In the meantime, if you are capable of emailing photos please email me at Lawsonj@cfl.rr.com

Welcome to the board from Maryland.I don`t think you are James Blanton.(Although we don`t know his bra size either). The paranoia is only with a few here. They`re a little touchy I guess. This is the first time I`ve seen this.Don`t be offended. It seems there are more Texans on here than any others. My first deal here was with a Texan.I just had dinner the other night with a Texan. In my own home!!I checked, nothing missing.Good luck on your sale with the bad start.Have you introduced yourself in the welcome section?I`m sending a $200 deposit to a new member in Georgia today.I wonder if Blanton moved east.Anyway, just checked this thread and thought it was a little silly and wanted to make you feel welcome.
Edit:I try trust first, never experienced the dude, only read tell-tales.Let`s all go for a cut`n`curl and walk out w/o paying, run to the barber shop, get our heads shaved, and go have a beer across the street. If the cops catch up to us,we`ll rub our heads and say,"I have no idea what you are talking about,Officer. You must have mistaken me for someone with hair.BTW,nice fade." To all others in Texas, you`re alright! If you see Blanton, set him straight.I`ll leave how up to y`all.

I have purchased some parts from this person. Her name is Lisa Willis.
She is responds to my email in a timely manner and seems to be very easy to deal with. I will let you know when the parts arrive. Don Mn.

Lisa Willis is organizing the car and truck show in Lone Oak. The phone number for info is the same phone number used in all of James Blanton's ebay auctions and the same number as Lisa's cuts and curls.I know I'm harping on the subject but we all need to know who we are dealing with.

That's not right to make a general statement like that. I wouldn't want someone to make that statement about Oklahoma just cause of one or two bad apples. The only burn I have had has been the guy in Denison (and he is back), but that doesn't turn me off from Texans. They do have some good parts.
