Nothing needs to be changed for it to work, it's just that no one can resist getting a nice billet coulmn to match the new bezil and guages.

I bought all the billet trinkets to go with the gauges and such, but it will be a while before I am ready to install everything, I still have to re-wire the truck.

AspecialZ, keep us updated once you get them installed & give us your real world feedback. Is that a Covans gauge panel in that pic?
yes, it is a covan's

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Looks like the only real issue is with that bad ass speedo they have. Hopefully tech help has improved...

Re: Gauges.... Who, What, Where?

I checked TPI's site but it's not abundantly clear..... Are these gauges electric or mechanical? They're listed as 'mechanical' or 'programmable' but that's vague.

Re: Gauges.... Who, What, Where?

Did a bit more searching;

they include new sending units for everything and have an available pulse generator for the speedo.

They have a couple fully mechanical gauge sets as well.

You're right lolife! I saw Swervin's post and was surprised. THEN I checked the date.

Still good info. You can bet I'm flipping this one into a PDF.

Mine was one of the, in the right place at the right time. If you buy them new you would be looking at $400 or little more for all of them. But the big thing is doing all the work to make them fit.

Re: Gauges.... Who, What, Where?

tv blazer got anymore pics of your set up? what size guages are those? 3 3/8" speedo and tach and that 2 1/16" smaller ones?

I have some autometer ultra lites i was planning on installing on my truck once i get it back and i like the look of smaller guages and your set up hits the spot. Please post more pictures if you have them. Thanks.
