Re: Chevelle shorty headers?

What about a set of the big block short headers in a 70 with a 454? Would those fit?

Re: Chevelle shorty headers?

Jamis had used them.

He had to grind out the frame to have them fit. The tubes would not hit the motor mounts.

So a direct fit header application had frame clearance issues?

Extremely overpriced, there quality for at least the block huggers isnt any better than a majority of the other main players. I bought a set and was highly disappointed in the quality of work, 3" collector opening where actually 2 1/4".

Are they not the ones listed for a Jeep conversion ?

If they are for 67-72 They should fit. (I did not see any listed there in shorty)
