Yeah, but getting parts for mack is a PITA. They don't let anyone else make there stuff, many fuel and oil filters are even 'mack only' items.

My dad never really had any trouble with his 72 Mack. But, of course, he beat the living daylights out of it, but it would NEVER die. When he sold it for 2500 bucks, antifreeze would just run right out of it (blown head gasket) and it still ran like a top. He could always just go up to the closest Mack place and get parts when he needed them. It had a 237 in it, and he could get filters over to Napa for it, but anyway. I guess I just have a thing for Macks.
