I have a feeling that this is going to take a little longer than George's Hood Bumpers last year.

I never go without my toolbox and gloves! Let me know if I can help. Make sure you spray down all your bolts with PB. It would suck to break one off and have that halt your progress.

There are alot of cute little motels.I didn`t see anything shabby.I think I stayed at the Holiday Hotel,I liked it.You probably have to go out by I-40 to find a national hotel.Be sure to see the Wheels Through Time museum there.I posted some pics in Misc.Pics.

For those with some time to kill. There is some nice trout fishing in that area. Cherokee has their own one day license and some good size trout. Those with NC license can find all types of creeks from wild, catch and release, hatchery supported, and delayed harvest. There are also some pay trout ponds. Enjoy.

Re: truck nats maggie valley

Hey guys,

I just got off the phone with the Maggie Valley Information Center. I called them wanting to know what the address of the festival grounds was. Mostly because I would prefer to stay somewhere that I can walk to the show. I'm going to attempt to drive my truck so I really don't want to move it that often if I don't have to.

The address is 3374 Soco Dr. Maggie Valley, NC Here's a link to a list of the hotels in Maggie Valley:

The show is at the festival grounds. What Charlie has listed as the host motel is the Quality Inn he has a rate quote of $49.95.

Well that's a darn good rate, but it doesn't look like walking distance
