Also someone said "Nothing to special about a roller cam." Are you NUTS?! With a roller, you can get away with a larger cam that "acts" smaller, MUCH better performance.
Such as the GMPP 846/847 cam or the LT4 HotCam.
If I had the choice, I'd choose roller over flat tappet, EVERYTIME!

Plus they last longer and do not have the same stress as a normal cam. Why do you think from 96 on the motors were built will Roller cams.
