I got a fuel pump for mine pretty easily. 26 bucks from Napa. They seem to have oodles of torque from what I can tell. My grandfather had a 305A in a 1960 GMC pulp truck. I think it was bigger than a two ton, not sure though. ANYWAY, he ran a 305A 110,000 miles before it burnt a valve. Said it was a great old engine, an it worked good in the truck. My dad said from what he can remember (he was just little), that thing had a lot more than one HOT supper. My grandfather is pretty rough with trucks, too.

Oh ok. I thoguht the 351E also had the rectangular pattern.
If it helps, i think 60-66 GMC trucks has a method for drilling out the normal rectangle adapter to a trapezoid adapter. |
