When I first saw the truck, I said, "decent shape, semi-rough paint... if everything that's shiny is paint and not Bondo, $2000. If there are some nice options to go with it, $3500." In short, I think you got it about right to slightly on the cheap. Nice buy! Welcome to the board!!!

From what i have found there is very little rust in the truck.. I rolled around under it yesterday and found a little in the rocker on the passenger side but thats about it.

Great deal, I paid 1500 for my 72 and its in no way the shape yours is in, and it's a longbed. Would of gladly paid 2200 for a swb. Thats not beat to hell and back. Funny thread name too.
