Re: It's that time, what did you get done this weekend.

I primed and painted my brake pedal assembly, parking brake assembly, accellerator pedal, and wiper arms. The are all going on the cab that is almost ready for paint at the body shop. I blasted all the parts earlier in the week at the auto craft shop on post (cost me 3 whole dollars...lol).

Decided on my color...body guy needed to know an answer. It's going to be 2006 Dodge Ram Patriot Blue Pearl. They'll be pictures when it comes out of the booth.

Re: It's that time, what did you get done this weekend.

I worked all day saturday, but ended with a small car show in the parking lot at the bar right next to my work, then went to the local show at 83rd and beardsley. Then worked all day today and bought a 650 holley and a new timing chain off a guy my mom works with tonigh. So each day of work brings something good at the end

Re: It's that time, what did you get done this weekend.

I was at a show on 43rd and Peoria sat night, was that the one you were at?

I got the cab, fenders and bed back from the beadblaster on tues, by fri most of the stuff was primed and welded.... I found out the drivers side of the bed was mangled at one pt and that either has to be replaced with a new bedside or let the bodyguy go to work on it... I got the frame back and am getting it painted this week.

Decided I was crazy after pulling the drivetrain and evrything off the firewall out because I am going to shave it smooth with only the steering column sticking out. I also got my 22"s Sun. and the truck will be losing some more metal. They look awesome though.

Got my heater box mounted, and did a litte more detailing and clean up under the hood. Next up is getting the bed wood finished, as the bed is almost finished up at the body shop.

Re: It's that time, what did you get done this weekend.

Went to the eye doctor. Got new contacts. They forgot to tell me your not supposed to drive with your eyes dilated. It was fun figureing out which pair of headlights was the real ones

Frustrating weekend. Trying to deal with UPS and missing parts

It was WAY too cold to do anything outside and it rained all weekend. Tried out my new PS2 game: Chevy VS Ford. Graphics are ok. Gameplay is OK. I only bought it for the classics in it. Not worth more than the $15 I paid for it.

Re: It's that time, what did you get done this weekend.

I got my axle housing back late friday from having it shortened, spent saturday and sunday welding the suspension brackets on and setting it up in the 67, Got all my measing figured out for the rear wheels and ordered those today.

I'm glad all you guys to the south of me got the snow, I ended up with about 4" of fluffy stuff and didnt even bother to plow it..

Re: It's that time, what did you get done this weekend.

I cleaned the garage so that my wife can stubbornly park in the driveway. I don't understand. Probably never will. I replaced my dimmer switch, found the old gas pedal under the seat, and attached the back-up lights. Until now, they were just lying in the holes in the back of the bedside.

Got sore from shoveling 18" of snow from in front of the garage, so that I could get inside and look at the truck and say, I'm tired....going back into the house.....

Re: It's that time, what did you get done this weekend.

Put in a new heater core. Didnt need it this weekend it was 75 degrees! Fixed some of A/C duct work. Added an I/pod and sit in the truck with my daughter in the shop and listened to tunes until the battery was dead.

Re: It's that time, what did you get done this weekend.

Started gutting the '68 Open Road motorhome that I picked up a week ago. Talk about nasty. Between the nasty old insulation, the rotten wood and the giant snake skins.... Yep, snake skins. This baby has had some slithery tenants in it before. It's pretty much all gutted. Hopefully this weekend I can get the sawzall out and strategically slice it up and get it to the dump.

Re: It's that time, what did you get done this weekend.

Finally fixed my fuel gauge by installing a new fuel sender. Kind of a pain in the ass to do because I had to remove my jump seat between my buckets to reach the sending unit. But it's finally fixed.

Installed a sweet looking billet grant spacer behind my steering wheel. It gave me another inch or so of room between my gut and the wheel.

I scraped that darn popcorn off my ceiling-surprisingly easy when it's dampened slightly first. I then had fun sanding it, I was covered with white dust from head to toe. I woke my truck up from its winter nap, and enjoyed watching the snow fall on Sunday.

Cut and patched on Cecil's floor ( that's the truck's name).

Starting to look good but resembles "Chucky's" face( or maybe Frankenstiens')!!!!!

Floor mat will take care of all of that.

Stroker is together awaiting roller lifters, intake manifold etc.

I GOTTA GET THIS BODY WORK DONE!!!!!!! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
