Re: Parting 71 k5 Blazer in Louisiana

Southern parts- I'm assuming that Huskerboy2 is passing on the seats since he hasn't responed, so if you want them they are yours.
teamradrz1- The visors are descent, with no tears or splits. They have been spray painted, but it comes off very easily.
boogie67- The grill is pretty straight with one noticeable dent.
blazerboy72- $14 shipped
shock me- $25 plus shipping

Re: Parting 71 k5 Blazer in Louisiana

Is the strip across the top edge of the tailgate (the one the hatch seals against) good? Are there any good carpet hold down strips?

The top tailgate strip is rusty, with holes across the top, but could be repaired. There aren't any carpet strips.

Re: Parting 71 k5 Blazer in Louisiana

Hey there, is that windsheild frame still available from the Blazer? Just need the top section even if it is rusted. Mine was in a rollover and completely destroyed. Thanks, Jon

Re: Parting 71 k5 Blazer in Louisiana

Rust I can deal with, as long as it's straight. I work in a resto shop where we can make it up. pic looks like there is enough to work with. My original was rotted and squashed.

Re: Parting 71 k5 Blazer in Louisiana

I've been to Ennis, but don't get over there very often. The frame is in good shape as far as I can tell. It still has the axles and steering, but the trans/transfer, front driveshaft, trans crossmember/skidplate are all gone. The top has cracks at the rear corners. Thanks
