Thanks much.. That'll work. I just wanted to know how much you had to cutoff. Pics would have been nice but the #'s work for me. I actually have already rolled the lip over with a hammer & dolly so I have about a 3/8" edge left. I think it will fly. I'll have to see where we are when I get the bed back to gether. If it rubs it will be just barely and i can play with that then.

Thanks buddy!!

Re: Its home PICS !!!

threaded inserts are welded into stake pockets & than a couple allen bolts go through the piece on each end of the tailgate (where the chains use to hold it closed). also a flat washer & piece of rubber cut to shape. I dont ever open it, however, if I need to, I can buy pulling out the 2 allen bolts. John

Re: Its home PICS !!!

I will confess that that body style was never my favorite, but the stance, the stripes and wheel set up look AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Its home PICS !!!

how did you lower the truck and how much? what is the tire sizes? those rear tires look too big to fit in. i have a 77 stepside w/295s in back.you must have different backspacing.

Re: Its home PICS !!!

TYTYTY I love the hood to. Its even cooler driving it, the reds change shades, like when turning a corner & the sun hits it differant

its got 3.5" drop spindles & the coils are chopped. the rear axle is flipped. The rear tires are 285/70/15s on 15X8s with 4" BS.

I am pleased thank you for the compliments. appreciated.
