Re: Tx Firefighter pics.

Welcome back Tx Firefighter, I have been wondering what happened to you, I look forward to your input again on the threads.

Tx Firefighter is an authority on just about every facet of these old trucks.

What is the story on the Falcon?

Re: Tx Firefighter pics.

Falcon is getting the lowrider treatment with astro supreme wheels, skinny whitewalls and metal flake paint on the top. a 60's style look if you will.

I'm swapping it to 5 lug wheels and disc brakes using a Granada as a donor vehicle.

Re: Tx Firefighter pics.

That sounds like a great plan for the falcon, with it being a wagon you can have a nice parts or people hauler. Your plan sounds very affordable with the granada donor vehicle.

Hey Kevin, good to see you back around. Hate to hear about the rough times, but I am glad you are doing all right. As usual if I can do anything let me know I'll certainly do my best to help. I'm in the area out there too, don't have a computer at the house but I'll give you my phone # if you want it. Take care - Curtis

Re: Tx Firefighter pics.

I was wondering why I hadn't seen any posts by you in a long time. Glad everything is ok.

I finally got those ECE 6 lug rotors on the truck back in september. Been driving it since November. They work great. Thanks for shipping them to me.

Welcome back also! I always enjoyed following your threads. Love the white truck! I am just now going through the big "D" myself. It isn't anything I would wish on anyone. Keep us posted on the progress.

Re: Tx Firefighter pics.

Curits,

I live real close to you now. I bought the little rock house on the right side 4.5 miles out of Springtown toward Agnes. You'll see my junk parked in the driveway if you look close as you're passing by.

Re: Tx Firefighter pics.

That's the one across from where the big Land of Goshen sign used to be, right? If it's the one I'm thinking of you are only about a mile from me (as the crow flies anyway).

Re: Tx Firefighter pics.

Yep, it's the little rock farm house with the full width front porch at the corner of Rhodes Lane and 199.

Currently, I have no walls in my bathroom, plumbing stubbed up through the floor and sheetrock dust everywhere. You know all about that though don't you? Good times...

Did I mention holes in the floors too? That's why I haven't been building any trucks lately.

Looking good TX. As for the house, I know you'll get it into shape and make it a happen'n bachelor pad with all kinds of furniture and wall art made from cars.

Re: Tx Firefighter pics.

Corvette valve covers, I like them. I haven't been around much lately either because of working on my Vette, but welcome back. I also went through the bid "D" 1.5. years ago, that's why I bought the Corvette I've always dreamed about. Remember, now it's time to do things for you and put the past behind you.
