Wow. Just when I thought that truck was bad ass, you go and make it look meaner. those 49's are a huge difference.

Crap, those 49"s are big! I've seen some before and I didn't think they looked that big. Now you will need a D60 soon.

Re: Project Monster Truck (Magnum) Finished

in michigan it wouldnt be legal. tires can only be so far outside the body and the frame cant be any higher than 26 or 28 inches off the ground. lets see some pics of it nice and dirty and see how them iroks do. ive heard bad stuff about them but they do look good.

Re: Project Monster Truck (Magnum) Finished

49" Iroks on a 10 bolt front? Hope that thing never gets off road, or if you do you have a dozen spare axle shafts/ujoints for the front end. As far as a lifted show type truck goes, it looks pretty good. But I think you might have been better off actually getting a D60 (which with 49" tires is not bulletproof either). and sticking with the slightly shorter boggers until you wore them out...

I'm not flaming, its still a nice truck with a good SAS done to it. Just not strong enough axles for the tires. But hey thats just my opinion...

Re: Project Monster Truck (Magnum) Finished

I know the 10 bolt has to go... but for now... it will just see pavement anyways... and I do have my line on a few D60's. Some that have been built stronger than most. I will keep people posted.

Re: Project Monster Truck (Magnum) Finished

Yukon- It was around 8'3" with the 44"s so I would guess around 8'7" -8'9" now.

Chevrolet... The height rule in KS is 54" to the bottom of your headlight.

Re: Project Monster Truck (Magnum) Finished

So essentially if you mount your headlights on your axle housing you could ru tires some where in the 108 inch range?Always looking for loopholes

That truck is WICKED nice job! Better get the oxygen masks out in case of cabin depressurization. LOL All kidding aside that is a sweet truck I've never seen that particular body style done up that way.

Re: Project Monster Truck (Magnum) Finished

nicely done. Doesnt look like it'll be in that garage or any for that matter. I would be putting a full roll cage inside for sure though. One that goes to the frame not just the cab.

Re: Project Monster Truck (Magnum) Finished

Damn, and I thought it looked Bad azz with the 44" Boggers but those 49" Iroks are completely off the hook. Should be a blast to drive around. Are u planning on mudding at all with the new axle setup or not? Congrats on a job well done.

Forget the D60, you've already outgrown it, go straight to Rockwells.

I've wheeled with guys on 49's, they make everything else look tiny.
