Re: updated pictures of my 67!!
Barepaint, I did see the pictures of that truck, pretty cool!!! I dig the steps in the bedside.
As for the rally wheels, the five lug are two wheel drive rallys (1973 and up), there are also six lug rallys, that are 4x4 rallys (I think are also 73 and up). The 4x4 rallys have bigger slot openings then the 2wd rallys. |

John,
Is that the same truck you were working on when I joined the board? I seem to remember it was white. Great job. Maybe you can come east and finish mine for me. Really looks good,

Re: updated pictures of my 67!!
68C10, yup, that is the same truck, only she is purdy now!!!!
It has taken a long time that I really don't want to do any other car or truck projects for a while. I know that urge will come back soon, but for now I want to take a break and play more with my family. CarGuysSierra, cap/neck comes from any boating supply store, cut it down to fit inside stake pocket, use gas filler hose (any good parts house has this), went to a muffler shop to get the 90 degree elbow (same size as filler hose). Mods are you will have to cut open the rear bed crossmember for the hose to come out of the bottem of the stake pocket. then put all hoses together and weld the neck into stake pocket. There are more details (such as air vent for filling, and vacumn relief since this is not a vented cap). |
