Re: Patch Panel

I don't know if there is one already sorry if there is, but where could I find a list of the vendors from this board. I want to buy some patch panels and would like to go through them.

Re: Patch Panel

Whoopee! Big deal, so you massaged some crappy sheetmetal on your rig. What, you think you're the only one out there that can bang metal and work a mig welder. Some of you are just legends in your own mind. Although it looks like you got your's to fit better than most and nice paint. I am more pissed at knumbskulls that sell this stuff and feed you lines of B.S. while not even knowing the true non-quality or orgin or it. More power to 'ya if it works for you. Good luck.

Gee wiz, thanks dawg! I really appreciate the kind words.

Would you like a refresher course on board rules?

I'll give you a hint. Both front fenders, inner fenders, and doors.

Don't knock it until you've tried it. All the research in the world means nothing to me if you have NO experience with the parts yourself. Did you know GM's tolerance on parts from 67-72 was + or - .2" thats a pretty crappy fit if you ask me. Ever heard of project Copperhead built by Stacy David on TRUCKS!? The truck was 100% repop except for the cab and frame.

You have to "make" some of these parts fit. These trucks are almost 40 years old, nothing is going to fit perfect the first time out of the box.

Re: Patch Panel

Glad to see Liz handled the situation and now we can just discuss the subject!
67ChevyRedneck- you have a fine lookin project goin there, man keep us filled in on your progress! Its gotta be a great feeling getting that close to completion!
Seems to me these vendors here are willing to go the xtra mile for us in need, and that sure gives a person more confidence about handling these projects.

Later---DAC

Re: Patch Panel

Wow thanks for all the response, and I am also glad to see that SoCal got what was coming to him. There was no call for the the bashing that he did. sounds like I will steer clear of LMC. I have looked up prices for Mothertruckers and GMCPuals and the difference is about $100 dollars more for the sheet metal I need for the cab but I am willing to pay for quaility parts and service. I need the usual cab corners, rockers and partial floor.
