With mine, I did not have any pedel after I bled it, much like what you describe. After I replace my MC, I could not get any brakes until the last inch or so. I then used a vacumn bleeder on each wheel, and then I have full brakes.....

i replaced the mc with a unit for power brakes i was using the one for the maunal brakes

Re: power brakes helppppp

My bad.... did not read entire thread. Sorry...

I still recommend trying a vacumn bleeder, as I had a friend help me bleed it manually three times, and still had no brakes, then when I did it once with a vacumn bleeder and all was good....

Re: power brakes helppppp

I just bought one of these from Motive Products, very nice product! I figured the brake shop was going to charge equal the the cost of this product and I get to keep it!

EARLY AMERICAN POWER BLEEDER. Works on most domestic cars and trucks with rectangular master cylinder reservoirs, including many Ford, GM, and Chrysler vehicles (Adapter 1105). Comes with everything you need to bleed your hydraulic brake or clutch system. All bleeders come with a full 1 year warranty. Application Guide. (Model 0105)
Qty: Price: $64.95
