Re: New shoes on the Blaze! Finally!
Thanks ya the front is giving me headaches with the new tires. I need to go higher to quit rubbing on everything and most likely need to do a cross over setup because the current tie-rod setup tore the wheel weights off the rim the first time i moved it...

Re: New shoes on the Blaze! Finally!
I was kinda wondering how 7" lift was gonna work with 38's. I have 11" and was thinking i couldn't go much more than 38's

That is a great looking K5! Lots of nice touches.
Contact www.offroaddesign.com they should be able to get you just front springs.

Re: New shoes on the Blaze! Finally!
Looks great! Might need to notch those rear wheel wells a little though.
And now you need a step to reach the step. lol...

Re: New shoes on the Blaze! Finally!
haha ya the step is going to be worthless after the lift but o well.... Thanks for the ideas on springs, I managed to figure out my game plan.
Rear will be 8" springs with flip for a total of 12" Front i have to buy 8" springs still with 1" zero rate and extended shakle to reach 10" The cross over steering i have most of, i just need to send out my knuckle to be machined. any suggestions on the drag link? I have the 2wd box, pitman and steering arms

Re: New shoes on the Blaze! Finally!
Nice looking ride. How much clearance do you have at the front when the wheels are turned with the current lift?

Re: New shoes on the Blaze! Finally!
Baketown- Before when i had the 35's there was no probloms ever. with the new treads cranked one way the tire is only about 1 inch away from tearing my front fenders off.... cranked all the way to the passenger side my pitman arm hits the tire at almost full crank.

Watch out for potholes. One big bump until the bigger lift and you are in trouble.

Hey thanks, ya i get alot of attention with my cage... expecially now that it is silver (it was black before and blended in).
It was fab'd in eugene at my buddies-dads-friends house. The top still fits on it perfect too.

Re: New shoes on the Blaze! Finally!
nice truck. How did your rims fit? Did you have to put any spacers in? Did you have any interference with the brakes?
