Re: Looking for PICS! Dropped
I had a driveshaft built because the extreme drop crossmember requires the use of a one piece driveshaft. ECE recomends the use of a one piece shaft and extreme drop crossmember with anything 5" or more. In my past experiences when they recomend a part you usually end up needing it. Once again lots of guys on here are running 6" of drop in the back or more and claim no problems without the shaft conversion or the crossmember. My upper control arm bushings were replaced due to wear. I really don't know how we didn't see it when we were replacing the springs and spindles. I like my drop and how the truck drives but if I had it to do over I might do it different. A 5" drop out back combined with a 2.5" drop spindle and a stock height front spring would get things about right. I'm only saying this because I didn't want to notch the truck and in all honesty it could use it.

Re: Looking for PICS! Dropped
I have 2" drop spindles and air bags on the front and bags on the rear. Here are 2 pics one with air in the bags (a little dark, sorry) and one with the air let out.

Re: Looking for PICS! Dropped
Wow, you guys have some really cool looking stances!. see ten- I love your trucks stance!. I just bought a disc conversion kit with 2½" drop spindles but not sure if I want stock springs up front or not. Right now I have almost 3" front and 4" rear and this gives me a ¾" rake. I might add a block in the rear and cut another pair of springs to bring it down a little more in the front. It's hard to tell until the disc kit is installed.

Re: Looking for PICS! Dropped
heres my 69. i did a 5.5/6 drop with springs. it also has 16"x8.5" wheels with 225/55/r16 tires, so whatever drop that added. the only problem i have is when i gotta put a floorjack underneath the crossmember. i have to drive it up on 2x4s. i havent had any safety issues with it yet. later...
