Re: My 72 gmc fleetside

I'm gonna chime in here also on the k&n filter, they ain't worth a dang for keeping anything clean inside the carb. still laughing at longhornman about the brick thing but that really does sum it up well. As usual I had to learn it the hard way.

Re: My 72 gmc fleetside

I have one question. It looks like the engine motor mounts are moved back a little bit. Did you do that ? I have a buddy that just showed my his truck and he did that. It helps the ride, and keeps the rear tires down better he said. I want to do the same thing with mine.

Re: My 72 gmc fleetside

Nice GMC,for sure!I don`t know how I missed it before.Welcome to the site.A little piece of trivia:GMCs were called "Widesides",but we all still call them Fleetsides. That`s cool, like "Stepside",that`s what most people call Fords and Dodges, too. When do you hear "Flareside","Utiline","Sweptside",or whatever they called wide FlOoReDs.
