Has anyone seen a 67-72 calander

What price point would you all be willing to pay for one of these calendars? I think that will end up being a huge factor in his decision to produce one.

As for me, knowing that any profit is going to the board, I would be willing to pay as much as $25 each, but I don't think that most people would want to pay more than $18 or so. Just my opinion.

That is a great point. I forgot to ask that. What price point are all of you willing to do?

I have one income and four children, so the cheaper the better!! I would like to see them in the $15 range.

That is my plan is try to keep the cost down but also would like to give a little to the forum

I think it is a great idea as well. As for price get the dead cost from your friend and take one to th epost office and find out what standard postage would be then put it up on the board and add say $2 to each. That will keep it cheap and still bring in a good amount for the board. $2 per truck nut adds up quick. The cheaper you can do it the more you will sell and the more the board gets as a donation from you.

The calender is a great idea. I think we could make one in a downloadable file that could be burned to CD and printed at Kinkos or some similar place for about 8-10bucks per calender. If the download was available to site members-supporters it would help generate forum funds. Just my $.02

Im game, I am with the member that said all of the 20,30,40's trucks and so on but never calendars of 67-72 trucks, blazer, and burbs. I would pay as much as 25.00 for a calendar, 30.00 for babes and trucks. LOL!!

It doesn't even have to be a calendar...just pics. with a note at the bottom that says..."flip at the end of the month". Of course some us might just stand there are do back flips and never see the Feb pic...ok calendar it is...with dates that automatically check off and months that flip themselves.

I will buy one.

i would be interested as well. i think that the price ($8-10 ea) of the kinkos calender with our scanned/digital pics is about right. throw in a few bucks for the board & i would say that $12-15 per unit out the door would be reasonable & still profitable...

Great idea!! I think with the amount of great trucks here, I think there should be 2 trucks per month. 1 of the trucks each month be a totm winner, the other would be another cool truck from the site. Something like this:

There are only a couple of guys on here that take professional quality photographs. You can tell someone how to do this and even show them and they just can't produce the "right" shot. Check out seeten's pics and there was another board member located in a western desert state (67 or '68 short step 4x4, tan mettalic) that was taking professional quality truck photos. I've been taking pics for over 30 years and don't get it right but about once in every 50 shots...LOL!

I'm all for it. I'll definetly take a few for home, work, my dad, and co-workers. It would also be a good idea to try this in the other sections and go by body designs(47-54, 55-59, 60-66, 67-72, 73-87). i know volume keeps prices down.

I just hope my tuck gets voted in.

Ok, I still don't know if anyone has started the ball rolling on this project, but I've been wanting to do it for a couple of years, so if no one else has, maybe I can at least get something going. I have not checked into what it will take to do it, but I will try. I like the before and after idea too, btw.
Just for kicks, anyone who thinks that they have a truck pic good enough to make the cut, or know of a board member's truck pic that may be good enough, post 'em up!

i was thinkin, what if you made it a reversable calendar? meaning when you open it up one way, you see nice rides, then when you open it the other, you see project trucks or DD's

printing costs might be a bit higher, but it would be pretty cool.

I sent a pm to LIZ as I wanted to make sure with the board if it would be alright to do this and never heard back. I kind of figured it was a no. I would lve to still get this going.
