That thought went thru my mind too! Looks like it's gonna be a show stopper, look forward to seeing it on the cover of a mag in the near future.

Re: Project Thread:Nothin Normal

First off I know im going to like your ride when its done. My question is about the engine, and ive wondered this about alot of hotrods...If your engine is so high that the blower, carbs and scoop are going to make it level with the roof (I love the overkill look btw) how can you drive this on the road legally? If my truck was this badass I sure would want to drive it every chance I got, but I wouldnt want to be hassled everytime I went for a spin.

I'm from michigan... the cops around here are very understanding and i can gurantee i won't get hassled.. i drive a 1972 chevelle around most days with a big block and electric cutouts that i leave open.. never once been pulled over.. an believe me this truck will get driven alot.. way to much time and money to be sitting on a trailer...

Re: Project Thread:Nothin Normal

What are you planning on doing with the tranny in the cab? Covering it with some plexiglass or something or just leaving it open like that?

I am building a removable tranny tunnel so i can work on it when needed.. gotta be kinda odd caue i will be able to take out the tranny without even getting under the truck.. ha

72CST- i actually have been tryin to keep it under wraps pretty well and usually wait till big progress to post... so i figure since the frame is 85% done and the body mods are getting closer it was about time..

Very nice. I am not sure about the chop but I won't give a verdict till it's done. What wheels are you going to use if I may ask?
