Every pic y'all post just reinforces my first opinion. It's nothing I'd fight about, but you would have a better chance of converting a Muslim to Judaism than getting me in a non-GM truck.

Re: I might need to be saved

Why not buy one from out west? I bought my K-20 from Utah...........It wasn't in the best shape, but by far was better than some we bought here. We worked 3-4 years on my brothers truck(69 C-10) but I have my K just about done in 9 months

Heck, I couldn't even find a good 67-72 here with a frame left, let alone a cab

How bout a Dodge Krue, I seen you in one of those .

I love the 67-98 GM trucks. Best things out there in my opinion, but I like other brands too. Those Fords never excited me, but I have seemn many that were extremely nice. Oh yeah, I have owned a 59 F500 Dumptruck, 60 F100 4x4 and a 93 F150. I liked them all, especially the 93 for looks, but I still like my 70 and the ole 96 I had much better.

If it is nice and you like it, go for it. It is a classic whether others like it or not.
