Re: What did you get done? Thanksgiving edition

We went across town to my GF's parents & watched the Cowboys win while chowing down. I ate well but didn't over do it.

Wed afternoon I got my notched crossmember + front frame section cleaned & rattle canned for the 68. After Thanksgiving, I started re-installing the c.member but ran into some alignment (or lack of) issues. I was on hold until Sat night when my buddy came by & verified my method of measurement was accurate (the front c.member is not 100% square w/the drag-link but measures square/diagonally on the frame ).

I still need to drill some new holes on the side of the frame since everything has been moved, but it's progress.

Ken.... Get some fresh pics of the Camaro. I bet alot of people haven't seen just how nice of a car it is (or was ).

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: What did you get done? Thanksgiving edition

my thanksgiving was eventful we ended up goin to eat lunch at my grandparents and then went home to later dad crankin up his dually to either bending a rod or spun a bearing but at 309,xxx miles i think its time for a new big block

fri he went to autorama were he talked to a guy about gettin an engine rebuilt but i stayed home and worked on moms burban

sat went and got my new bed for my 96 since i got rear ended in july and were still fightin the insurance company i was lucky enough to buy a near perfect bed for 200 from a buddy who totaled his truck back in june only damage was the left frt rocker under the gas door was dented other than that its perfect but it will be in primer soon

sun worked on gettin my 78 goin because since the duallys out of commisson we needed another vehicle so i did a basice tune up and changed out the 200 amp alternator i killed for a 78 amp since its only goin to and from work he doenst need no loud system but at the same time he came to work and changed the right ram horn exhaust manifold that broke in half on his show truck which he dropped and broke into 5 peices but lucky we had a spare one already i wish he would put headers on it thou

Dang, that thing is screaming "I love the 80's", as are the sunglasses and hair-do on the model/driver/wife?

Cool pics though, and neat story Ken.

Awesome 3rd gen man! Class act. That car only needs the graphics removed and a good detail job away from being back to modern and restored to glory.

Wow! That's a keeper. I like those wheels a lot. With the cowl hood, the black paint and even the tail, it's a pretty mean looker.
