And Josh, I'm willing to bet a punch in the daddy parts, if you run the numbers, I'll bet it is just a run of the mill 350. I am almost certian that none of the lt1 engines were blue.
Um....no!

The only thing "traditional" about the LT1 is the rotating assembly. EVERYTHING else is completely different, block, heads, cam, intake, etc. Its all been redesigned. Hence the GEN II title it has been givin.

Re: What to do....

Longhorn is referring to the original LT1 offered in the 1970 Camaro.
Quote from web: Besides the base model, buyers could select the "Rally Sport" option with a distinctive front nose and bumper, a "Super Sport" package, and the "Z-28 Special Performance Package" featuring a new high-performance LT-1 360 hp (268 kW) 380ft.lbs of torque 350 in³ (5.7 L) V8.

Re: What to do....

I want to do something like this. I know this truck is on this board, but I don't know who's it is. The LS1 with Cadillac fuel rail covers is the sickness. I like the Vette setup, but this is a nice "wow" feature, plus I am on the fench about giving my truck a full Caddy makeover at some point. My main goal is to run E85 with the next motor.

Re: What to do....

The stacks look awesome. Turbos are expensive but I saw a guy on eBay selling his truck with a 383 dual turbo setup and it looked really sweet. Either one will definitely give you the wow factor.

Re: What to do....

Does anyone know if stacks are expensive? I really like them! The turbo on the other hand would be sweet. Does anyone have a ballpark on what a turbo would cost (everything you need for a turbo also). Thank Josh
