Re: I am Younger/Older than my truck

I'm a '69 and the 'burb's a '72, so I'm older by a little bit; but I'm younger than my next one, I've got a '68 'burb waiting to become mine, all mine.

Re: I am Younger/Older than my truck

Same age. We're both a '68 model.
I have tried to locate more information using a VIN# lookup site but it hardly tells me anything other than it's a 68 and it was made in St. Louis, MO.
Anybody have a good site I could try to get some better details on it?
Thanks!

My truck and my wife were both made in '69, I was made in '71. She requires less work than my truck, so no issues there

No question about it,I'm older than the truck and have more rust.I also never fixed stone wheels, however I did found the company that made tablets for Moses!

Re: I am Younger/Older than my truck

Well, technically I'm older than both of mine, but one has a 68 nose
conversion so only half of it is older so I am 25% A and 75% C

Re: I am Younger/Older than my truck

I was just 5 when my 67 was made, just learning to ride my first "sting-ray" bike and watching Adam West play Batman on TV. My Army squad used to give me flack about being the oldest. When they found out I was a Mechaninc before I switched to MP they would ask "Where you a Stone-Wheel mechanic?" I told them nope, but I was on the pit crew for BenHur's racing team.
