I agree with Longhorn Man once again. Don't find too many with beautiful body and pretty faces either.

Re: I have to pick, GMC or Chevy
Here are the pics. I don't think its a bad deal at all for a running driving truck. $600 and as you can see its not much rust. original family owned with original documents.

Re: I have to pick, GMC or Chevy
The good thing is the original color is a bronze so the rust doesn't show that bad. Is the 307 a good block to build up or should I get a 350 to match up with the 3 speed?

Re: I have to pick, GMC or Chevy
the 307 is a good engine, but it'd be a waste of money if you really want any power. You can slap an intake and carb on it, some headers and daul exhaust, and an HEI, and if you aren't satisfied, then swap it all straight over to a 350... no money lost.

Re: I have to pick, GMC or Chevy
Certainly not bad for $600....the ones like that here are priced around $1.5-$2k [and not selling of course].

Re: I have to pick, GMC or Chevy
Nice find for $600. Enjoy your GMC. I'd go with a 350 and keep the 307 on a stand somewhere justin case you want to restore it some day.
