Re: what kind of welder you own

We have 6 miller, part # "big huge" migs & a miller tig at work. I usually do my welding there.

There is also a miller plasma cutter, 3 press brakes, 5 laser tables, 2 CNC mills, 1 CNC lathe, a CNC saw & lots of other things that I dont know how to run. I run the lathe & mills there...

Re: what kind of welder you own

I bought a lincoln sp170t back in 1995. It still works great. Need to get it off of the fluxcore, but it is easy to use this way too. I have the regulator, just need a bottle.

Hobart Handler 140 MIG with gas. Works great for all the jobs I do, and before I bought it I'd never welded a day in my life.

Re: what kind of welder you own

ive got a weld pac 100, with a gas kit on it. works great up to 3/16,1/4 is pushing it. works great on everything else, i realy need the 175 because i am starting to do a lot more 4 links and I just dont get enough penitration when trying to weld the axle brackets on.I must say though the gas kit made it a new beast, the flux core made for some poris welds, make a small tack wth flux core and you bend it once to brake it off, make the same size tack with the gas and you have to work at it to brake that tack!

Lincoln Pipeliner 200G. Well, it really belongs to the company I work for. It actually has a 4 cylinder Chevy gas engine in it!

I have a Decca 105E gas mig. I haven't used it much but it seems to work great and the price was right.

Meanwhile as Glock runs out of the garage, wheels67 loads his welding gear. lol

And when Glock comes back into the shop, he still has his Glock Compact .45 in-hand, ready to dispatch said bat. Meanwhile, he notices his welders missing.....
