Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

finished up rebuilding all my brakes (drums all around). unfortunately i had to buy new rear drums (12x2 for dana 60 axle) which pushed up my wallet output way more than orignally planned. now for master cylinder and bleed and i should be safe on the road. not sure what the PO was using to stop looking at the brakes (some full of grease, some worn to the metal on shoes).

Replaced the garbage disposal and put together my table saw. Drank beer, ate pizza and watched football.

I took off my zbar that wouldn't work with the headers I bought and had my friend cut and reweld it so it would work, shouldn't be long now.

Hung a new 2 1/4" dual exhaust system. No more straight pipes dumping below cab!!! Best $140 bucks I've spent yet. Installed new stereo and speakers. Bumped the timing up 2degrees. Then drove the wheels off of it

I actuallly took the time to clean my shop so as to get ready for the next round of restoration on my 69 CST. Also watched the great comeback by the Colts!

Nothing on the truck. Soccer games with my son, and still short the DD and the wife was home this weekend from her training schools, so I had other things to work on

Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

Got the new front calipers on, new master cylinder, and bleed the brakes. Replaced clogged fuel filter and got the truck running again. (added an inline fuel pre-filter too) Lubed the front end, and replaced some dry rotted hoses on the brake booster and pcv valve. And of course I found a few more things that I need to replace along the way. Still having fun!
