What do you guys think it would cost to get a set of side steps chromed? I have been wanting a set for a long time.

There was a set that sold on e-bay for 78.00 about two months ago. I've never wanted them because they would get scratched by idiots stepping on them... But then again what are they for?????? STEP SIDE STEPS!!! Duh..... |

There is a chrome glove box door on ebay now.It was the woodgrain on it.

chrome glove box
I got mine from SuperCheyenneMan at the Charlotte Auto Fair last yr and the vinyl was already on it as was the ashtray and please dont ask what it cost because I paid way to much for it ,but I had to have it, 140.00 ouch! If you want to see my dash pick up a Oct. issue of CLASSIC TRUCKS MAG. it on page 144.

BIG ORANGE, I WORK IN MONROE AND A GUY RAN UP TO ME AT A STOP LIGHT ONE DAY AND GAVE ME A BUSINESS CARD FOR A PLACE DOWN IN LANCASTER THAT SELLS CLASSIC CHEVY PARTS.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT PLACE I'M TALKING ABOUT? AND DO THEY HAVE MUCH INVENTORY? I'VE BEEN TO DIXIE TRUCKS IN MT. PLEASANT AND HE HAS ABOUT ANYTHING YOU NEED AND HE HAS BETTER PRICES THAN MOST PLACES I'VE FOUND, HOW'S THE GUY IN LANCASTER IF YOU KNOW WHICH ONE I'M TALKING ABOUT. |

I wan't a glove box door that has been done in "Black Chrome". Have you guys ever seen anything done in black chrome? IT LOOKS SWEET!! I saw a receiver / trailer hitch done in black chrome a few years back. It is sweeeet looking.
I used to work in the plating industry a few years back, but can't remember the chemistry for black chrome. Darren
