Re: Tall Valve Covers Won't Fit!! What R my options????
Change to a 67-70 DD booster like this. It is a couple inches smaller and works great...
These are a "must" when trying to get clearance for 4bbl on a six cyl. |

Re: Tall Valve Covers Won't Fit!! What R my options????
I ended up going to the junk yard and getting a hydraboost off a 88-94 chevy 3500. The ps pump off the brackets i bought are for a hydraboost. I figured this would be a little better performing since I am running a large cam and 4 wheel disc.

Re: Tall Valve Covers Won't Fit!! What R my options????
The setup I bought was way more than easy to get bolted the firewall. All I had to do was take the factory plate off and turn it upside down and mark two new holes from the factory bracket and drill. I then had to make the hole in the firewall bid enough for the unit to slide in. The last was to shorten the new rod and I just cut it off and welded the threaded end of the old rod on and I was done. I will get pics the next time I have the camera with me.
