Re: GMC- Chevy Front-end conversion update
Nice transformation!
I made the switch to 67 sheet metal also, from a 71. I have the cowl hood too, but not sure if I like it. I wish the raised portion was flatter on top longer, rather than sloping down gradually all the way to the front. I am still considering modifying it that way, maybe... The red 68 in the "Stoked Out" thread has this type of cowl hood, it looks cool. Keep up posted with pictures! |

Hey that looks great, I like that bumper, gives it a custom/modern flair.

Re: GMC- Chevy Front-end conversion update
i like it..i prefer the gmc grills but to each there own...your work looks good..now if you change everything to chevy, i would assume you are doing the tail gate, you can say you own a chevy, but what about the title. how do you change that,,or do you swap vin numbers....nor something legal like that...

Re: GMC- Chevy Front-end conversion update
I don't care what the title says, the vin numbers match my cab thats all that counts. I sold me bed to Ron586 so I am looking for a fleetside, I plan on buying a new tailgate anyway
