Re: what did you raid the piggy bank for this week?

I managed to spend $50 on $0.45 - $1.00 parts, with two $4 parts thrown in for good measure.
and only $7 of the $50 was for shipping.

Re: what did you raid the piggy bank for this week?

Me and my wife usually end up raiding the piggy bank for Sunday school money right before Church.. We never have cash on hand for Sundays.. We write a check for tithes but never have cash for sunday school.. We owe our girls some money as we speak.. lol...

But I am getting ready to buy

Rear chrome bumper for a 70 Fleetside
Rear Bumper bracket
rear license plate bracket
license lamp ass.
front chrome bumper
brass float for a 70 V8
tail lamp lens red for both side
back up light lens for both side
heater hoses
and would also like new chrome heater ducts and AC ducts
and the hose kit for heater and AC
That is it for now..

We can relate to this. Poor Shelby's piggy bank is FULL of IOU's..

That's as good as cash though I tell her...

I took a big chunk of change for the new blazer just last month so that along with the mortgate upgrades are going to have to wait for a while.

Gave Mar-k around $600 just before the weekend. Currently in the process of ordering fuel lines and fittings for the fuel cell I installed over the weekend.

Re: what did you raid the piggy bank for this week?

I went to South Carolina to race motorcycles.

$100 x4 for fuel in motorhome
$25 x3 for race classes
$150 in fuel
$50 to fix a flat
$30 in race gas for bikes
$250 to re-do my suspension on one of my bikes

but the experience is priceless... i'm heading to Florida in 3 weeks for another race, but this one is 4 days long (instead of 3 days like this past weekend.)

this saturday will be pricey... one of our race cars (78' Camaro) gets the frame pulled, along with a double pass aluminum radiator and some other front end parts... My brother was running 2nd and coming out of turn 4 3rd spun him and he got hit head on... DOH!

yeah, i know what you mean...

Up until i sold my bike this fall, i would end up spending over a $1000 a weekend at the track (CRA/AMA). but then again, being able to fly around the track between 120 and 160 mph is definately worth it...

Re: what did you raid the piggy bank for this week?

I bought a pair of 15X10 slots from BLAZERMAN. That pretty much emptied mine...
