Re: It's a BOY!
Congratulations on the news, Rokclrn.
I am 37 and my twins (boy and girl) will turn 2 in June. I think one baby will be a walk in the park. They really change your outlook on life.

Re: It's a BOY!
congrats. Just had a boy myself (2/6/07). thats 4 for me. 2 and 2. the one thing I forgot was the middle of the night stuff. You'll do well. The coolest part with kids and cars is their first words. My oldest son's (5) first words were truck and supercharger. I was pumped. congrats and hope all goes well

Re: It's a BOY!
Congrats Kevin, that's awesome!
My daughter is 6, my middle son is 10, and my oldest son will be 21 in May I turned 35 last year, so I started a little early. My daughter is the only truck fan of the bunch.

Re: It's a BOY!
Thanks everyone we are looking very forward to him getting here. And yes he will be one of the younger members (lots of lap time with Dad). Now I was about 14 when I started welding and working on cars and he will get started ASAP so by the time he is 16 he should have a good ride if this is his thing. No preasure if it is not though, no TV or Ice cream but no preasure
My Dad great as he is, is a golf guy and never under stood my car addition Kevin LFD Inc. |

Re: It's a BOY!
My dad did not understand my car hobby either, you're not alone on that point either.

Congrats! Its so fun, some of us start over again... I have a 21 year old, a 17 year old and a 1 year old (yep - 1!)... All girls and all is cool! My dad said each time he had a boy (3 of us), that was another 8 years of looking for his tools in the yard.... hahahahahha

Re: It's a BOY!
Our 3 year old is good at helping us wrench around in the shop! He can already identify most any tool. But have to watch him with a hammer around stuff that doesn't need some body work...yet!

Re: It's a BOY!
Congrats, Daddy!!!!
I was a fairly early starter. I'm coming up on 38 and have 4 kids (15y/o daughter, 14y/o daughter, 12y/o daughter and 14y/o stepson) that were knocked off in short order. The two younger girls are already arguing about which one gets the 'burb....little do they know that they won't be driving it, at least not for a long while( I'm not done with it yet!). Start him early on the cars/trucks and keep him interested; I tried with my stepson and daughters, and the only one that took any interest was the youngest girl...but then again, I don't have the cool tools and toys like you. |
