Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

Made some LED reverse lights and modified some 6' oval amber trailer lights to fit into the parking lights in the front bumper. I think i might make a build thread here in a little while

Took a little road trip today to pick up the new extended cab project, drove it back 250 miles without any problems.

Didn't work on the truck over the weekend had worked on it during the week but , went and got me some new sanding blocks and sand paper and a palm sander. This 70 weather had to barbeque on the grill today and drink some cold beer and back to working on the truck this wee before going back to work.....

Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

Well, I went to Advance Auto Parts and bought a fitting and some 5/8" and 3/4" hoses to get my heat working.. Heat works great now..

I also greased the front of my truck's suspension..

Aligned my bed with the help of a friend..

my brake pedal is hard so I checked my brake fluid and there was no fluid in the rear and barely any fluid in the front.. I can bleed the front brakes but the rear brakes do not get any fluid to them??? I will have to figure that one out.. I assume either a bad master cylinder or prop. valve...

Screwed down my shifter boot to the floor of my truck..

Put some water in the radiator..

I was going to change the float in my gas tank and install new tail light lens but my order from GMC Paul's has not shown up yet.. I'm hoping it will arrive today..

James..

Finished up door stuff. Vent windows back in, glass, seals, etc... Thanks FAQ list, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting.

Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

Finished drilling holes for the rear air bags, and test-fit the trailing arm crossmember before I get to painting the frame.

I'm now down to 100 days to go from bare frame to running truck.

This could get interesting.

HEAR HEAR!

My work times this weekend were: Started at about 10:00pm on Friday and worked until about 3:00am Sat. morning. Then Saturday 8:00am to 9:00pm.

I accomplished the following:
Removal of - TH350 tranny, flywheel, oil pan gasket, 2-piece drive shaft, cross member, pitman arm, and lots of grease, grime, and dirt.

Installation of - 700R4 tranny, flywheel, oil pan gasket, 1-piece drive shaft (it's actually being shortened today to go back in tonight, but that's a snap), cross member, and pitman arm.

It was a lot of work in 18 hours time.

I love that color Orange. What paint did you use or do you have the paint codes to match it?
