The caps are from a 2000 Chevy Astro mini van. I had a friend recommend them to me when I took the wheels to have them powdercoated. I was very impressed with the look.

Haven't decided if I will put beauty rings on or not. I am leaning towards leaving it like it is.

Those center caps look like they are from a Chevy Astro van?

Is that brace behind the fuel cell from Early Classic? It looks like the same one I am using

Is that a FuelCellGuy (Mark Fowler) rear fuel cell? A few members are using his tanks in our projects
Thanks for the positive comments!

Yes, I put Astro caps on it.

It's a Stainless steel fuel tank kit from Early Classic. The brace comes with the package.

That truck is awesome..... Leave it satin for a couple years. The rat-rod look is in, you save money, and you can throw on the gloss black to match the door jambs and interior when you get sick of it. 3 words man---- OLD SKOOL PINSTRIPES!

I'd leave it, just my 2 cents... in fact, if I woulda found a 71-72 in satin before I found mine, I'd be driving it daily with a smile instead of looking at water spots on paint and polishing chrome. Grass is always greener on the other side.....

Thanks!
Couldn't agree with you more.
I am planning on painting the bowtie emblem to match the wheels a little closer and adding a red pinstripe of some type.

After i have some fun with the truck it will get a nice glossy black finish. Probably a set of Torque Thrust wheels as well.
