Re: The wifes Suburban is on the road!!!
The tires are 265/75R16 Toyo A/Ts. I belive that the wheels are 8" wide(not sure since the wheels and tires were on the truck when we bought it). We just got our 16" dia stock style wheels from the powdercoater today so when we have the tires mounted on them I will get a real measurement for you.

Re: The wifes Suburban is on the road!!!
I love the old burb's. Looks great. I have owned (2) 72 Suburbans in the past, 2wd and 4wd. I would like to get another 4wd some day. Your hard work has paid off!

Re: The wifes Suburban is on the road!!!
Finally got the whiteys and hubcaps on the wifes Suburban. I have to offer a special thanks to Cheyenne10 for supplying the super clean hubcaps! Thanks Bob! Another very strange thing happened today......ALL of the trucks got washed at the same time! This is such a rare occurance that I had to document it for posterity(otherwise no one would belive me!!!!). Enjoy the pics! Also threw in a pic of my pickup since I don't belive that it has ever been on the board before.(at least never this clean!)

Re: The wifes Suburban is on the road!!!
Heres the latest Suburban update. We have begun collecting A/C parts since my pregnant wife has informed me that the new baby will be needing A/C next summer. We have collected most of the parts for the factory front/rear A/C system. This winter I will be cleaning, repairing and restoring all of the parts we collect. The actual installation will not happen until next spring since this truck is the wifes daily driver. Once I actually start to make some progress I will start a thread covering the long and arduous process of Suburban A/C installation.

Re: The wifes Suburban is on the road!!!
I have put Factory on my Non-Factory Air 72 C10, I would NOT go that route again, I would go with an Old Air or Vintage Setup system.
