Re: RED ALERT To All GM Guys

Even illlegals wouldn`t scrap a Cameo.BTW,do you check citizenship and migration status on all you meet?Back east,we have "rode over on the Mayflower" inbreads punching fork tongs through bedsides and crushing everything in site at their legitimate yards on land that was stolen from the noble natives of the Seven Nations.
Maybe these "illegals" actually have roots in California from hundreds of years before it was America.Ever notice how most everything (including the state) has a Spanish name out there? How deep are your California roots? Most Latinos I`ve known have a great appreciation of vintage GMs and have done them the great justice of preserving as many as they can lay their hands on.

Re: RED ALERT To All GM Guys

So,all our classics are getting scrapped and sold to China so they can make diecast models of classics to put on the shelf.Hmmmm....

Re: RED ALERT To All GM Guys

Lotsa WW II vet retirees in our area.

Lotsa hard-earned wisdom in those old minds, too.

I heard one old gentleman reminiscing the other day about how he recalled how Japan was buying the heck out of scrap metal all throughout the 1930's, and they were paying top-dollar to get it.

He said: "A lot of the scrap metal we're now selling to China is gonna get shot-back at the US one of these days."

He also said: "I saw a lot of US ships go down because of one determined & dedicated Japanese pilot, and just remember that those Chinese outnumber us by about 1000-to-one."

I don't know if there's anything to that, but it's food for thought............

Maybe another good reason to save our old scrap collectible cars & trucks.

Re: RED ALERT To All GM Guys

They can call in our debt right now and it would ruin us.Expect it to only get worse.
