Re: What are your vehicle's names?
well
I just named mine after reading this, I'm going to call her Amy. after my old pit bull. me and Amy did some growing up together.. i had here for 13 years she died 3 years ago.. she was the best dang dog.. never hurt anyone... mater a fact one day i came home, i lived in the country, and the neighbors were over. here come 3 of there kids carrying Amy, one had one leg the other had one leg and the other had here tale. she was upside down and off the ground most of the time. she was just taken it all in with here tongue hanging out... these kids were no older than 8 years. they weren't being mean just playing.. i bet you cant do that to most dogs.. and she was a 50 lbs pit bull. Now amy was no wimp by any means. lol. me and Amy seen alot of good times and bad.. and i have never had a better mannered dog, so i am going to call my truck Amy.. me and the old truck have seen some good times and bad and i hope she will be well mannered when I'm done rebuilding here... |

Re: What are your vehicle's names?
70c10 I was going to say it before but didn't want to hi-jack I guess I can add now that thread starter stated it. I have to agree with that. I normally don't care for grill of those years I like the 67/68 an the 71/72 better but yours is one of my alltime favorites, grill and all and I quote

Re: What are your vehicle's names?
My 72 K-2500 is called the "Big Truck" the 72 C-1500 is the "Little Truck". I know that is not very imaginative but it works. I don't know what I'll do when I get the Ton project done, guess I'll just call it the Ton.

Re: What are your vehicle's names?
I name all my vehicles, but just haven't come up with a name fitting for my new truck. She's old and grey, but well mannered, much like my great-grandmother was. Maybe I'll call her Myrtle.

Re: What are your vehicle's names?
My son dubbed my 68 "The Hot Rod Truck":
Dad's 72, "Deuce": My GMC, called "Jim": My old 67 GMC, we call it "Sissy" cause it has faded to a pinkish color: I don't have a pic of my 70 4x4 handy, but it is the factory bronze color, and we call her "Goldie".

Re: What are your vehicle's names?
Hey Glock... so which truck are you restoring? "The hot rod truck" looks too nice to have needed all the aftermarket steel you're using in your build thread... is there another truck you have too... or is "sissy" the build thread truck?
(The cabs in primer in your build thread )

Re: What are your vehicle's names?
The '70 C-20 got the nickname "Booger" as I was pulling it home on a trailer. It's big, green, and not really all that nice to look at - my wife thinks it should be "Snot" because it runs.
The '71 C-10 is "Annie Mae" because I got it from my grandmother and it should be a pleasant truck to be around when I get finished with it. The '63 C-10 is "Jack" because it was my grandfather's and I think it's going to be a cantankerous old f**t just like he was. Engineerdad |

Re: What are your vehicle's names?
My daughter said my truck "looks like a daisy" when I brought it home. So "Daisy" it's been ever since.

Re: What are your vehicle's names?
'70 c10 = "Grounds for Divorce." I'm in Seattle, so something to do with coffee seemed appropriate. The divorce part is what will be happening if my wife ever finds my receipts.
'06 Equinox = The Knox (a friend named it) '02 Hyundai Elantra (wife's car) = Little E (sorry Dale Jr. I didn't name this one either)

Re: What are your vehicle's names?
Mine is a 69 stepside that is 3 different colors. A 6 cylinder with no extra options. His name is "FLASH". My niece pained it on both doors along with a lightning bolt. It doesn't get any better than that. lol

Re: What are your vehicle's names?
We name our vehicles original names...
My truck is "Orange". Always has been (since it's been orange). My dad's truck is "Red". It is a red dually. My wife's car is just, "Your car". DLB |
