The listing says "Newer Turbo 350 Transmission, 203 Cast Iron Transfercase". Most likely it was either a 6cyl or a 4 speed originally and someone converted it to an auto using a setup from a later model blazer.

dell, I am about a hour or so away from that Blazer. I am working all weekend and could not look at it until after Tuesday. Still if you need a set of eye to check it out, let me know, I might be able to break some time free.

bouncy, did they ever make a six cylinder CST? One other thing I noticed is it listed having three fuel tanks. It has the fuel doors on the sides which most likely means it has saddle tanks. Most of the ones that I have seen are placed in the rocker boxes by cutting a hole in them. It does add to the fuel capacity but I can't help but think that it would make the Blazer flex more.

Don't know about the 6cyl CST, but they did a lot of strange things and consistancy wasn't their forté so anything is possible.

As for the three tanks, I have three. My saddle tanks are Hickey, which were dealer options. They are in the bed behind the wheel wells. I'm not sure if you could put in flush gas doors with them though so I'd guess these are in the rockers. It probably would limit flex, but how twisted do you plan on getting?

nor cal has its fair share too... but oddly enough, the occational deal pops up in the sf bay area on craigslist. that's where i found mine. i've been seeing a recurring one in my local area for 6 or 7k that looked pretty nice, but of course, it's not on there tonight. i'll post it if i see it again...
