Re: Look who we hung out with on Saturday.

It is a show guys, I also know Boyd very well and it doesn't happen like that. Brizio is another one. Greatest guy in the world, I would take a bullet for him. Those are all just shows, nothing more nothing less, just nightime drama. they get money for ratings.

Actually at least three. Mike (machinist) Charlie (painter) and most recently Scott (sheet metal fab man) Ive seen these people work on overhaulin anyways. Im assuming they have some affiliation with foose.

I watch overhaulin and american hot rod waaaay too much. its sad that i have noticed that lol

Getting a chance to hang out with Foose is pretty cool but damn if I wouldn't give my right arm for that truck of yours!!!! That is one of the nicest Cheyenne's I ever seen.

on your awards and it sounds like you had one heck of a time!

The best American Hotrod episode was when Charlie left to go paint for Foose.

Re: Look who we hung out with on Saturday.

I met Chip Foose at the Seattle Roadster Show before he was plastered all over TV. All he wanted to do was talk hot rods with guys that shared the same interest...as long as you wanted to talk...SERIOUSLY! It is good to hear that fame has not changed him one bit.

BTW...nice ride...bringing it west of the mountains this summer?

Re: Look who we hung out with on Saturday.

Besides adding all those ponies to that thing, the best thing you did was change those wheels. The current wheels "fit" the truck tons better than the previous wheels.......beautiful truck!

Hanging out with Foose had to be a memorable experience! Though I've never met him personally, I've witnessed how he interacts with others and he seems like a truly down to earth type of person......to bad more of the "limelight" types weren't more like him.

Would I rather hang with Foose...sure he is simply a nicer fellow in my humble opinion. Why are Boyd and Chip not seemingly talking? Chip was the President of one of Coddington's companies. Chip decided to do things his own way. It seems as Boyd may not like that and feels betrayed.

I had a boss like that once...anyone who left he wanted them to fail. More of a control thing than anything else.

I hope the both of them keep their TV shows fresh and exciting...I love to watch them.
I was talking with Charle at Sema as well and he did say to keep in mind it is just a show and the producers wanted contraversy (sp?) so they get it. Now as far as Chip and Boyd talking I saw Chip and his Wife and boyd and His wife all together talking at the after hours OverHaulin party on night 6 of the build. They are both great poeple in their field and I will not cast judgment untill I have meet both and decide for my self. Untill then Thursday nights are booked!

Re: Look who we hung out with on Saturday.

I would love to meet Boyd as well. I have some friends that have met him and they have all mentioned he is not as easy going as Chip. In a way that is good as well because he is passionate about what he does. My friends have only met him at Barrett Jacksons when they have had cars that that beat his in value. But like I told them, it is because he is passionate and wanted his cars to do better. Like I said, they are the only ones that I know that have met him.

Re: Look who we hung out with on Saturday.

For bskylerg,

I stumbled across this somewhere and modified it accordingly for my mini supercharged ride and thought after you posted those crazy dyno numbers you may want to consider posting this on your glove box door......after all, we do live in a very litigious society and a warning sign is always a good idea.

....just looking out for a fellow truck lover.

That's cool, I met Bunny Burkette this past Saturday. Found out she only lives a few miles from me...

Thank you very much. I have not heard from them but I did hear from Classic Trucks Mag. They said if I had a photographer take some pics and we could get them to him they would run a deal on it.
