Hey guys,
I was asked by Randy to see if I could help with this. I fear something may have happened to Cliff. I have met him and even had dinner with him and he does not strike me as one to skip town over a part. The reason why I say this is because he has a GREAT job with his family in Crown Point, and it doesn't seem possible at all. I also bought some seat belts from Cliff on the 5th of April and have not seen them yet. I have been hesitant to call for fear of what I might hear on the other end. I will make an effort to try to contact him by phone and see if I can find anything out. I for one am hoping this will come out in the wash. Thanks, Mike

i sent him a money order on 4/4/07 for a cargo light and havent seen it yet . pmd him a couple times over the last few weeks with no response. it was only a 10.00 item so i wasnt to worried about it . well just wait and see..groundhog

Randy, if you paid Pay Pal with a credit card, simply notify the credit card company to reverse the payment due to failure to respond---fraud. The credit card company will charge back Pay Pal and you will be covered.

Wish I would have paid that way I paid with hard earned cash that was in my paypal account from selling my restored dashes.I have filed a paypal cliam, but not sure what that will do. I appreciate the info though.

Do you file a complaint or file a claim?
If you filed a claim with Paypal, he has to prove that he shipped the item or Paypal will side with you. He only has so many days to respond also.
If Paypal sides with you and he has emptied his account, you may never get any money.

I have sent 67babyblue some money on 4-1-07 and pmed him about 2 weeks later. It took him about one week to reply to the PM, in the mean time he was active on the site. When he finally replied on a saturday he told me my stuff would ship on the following Monday. Wednesday when I got home from work my stuff was sitting on my front porch.

Overall it took about 3 1/2 weeks to get the goods I purchased from him.

I have had a good experience with him even though he response time with his PMs was slow.

I am guessing there is a good explaination for this and hope all is resolved.

I was able to get in touch with Cliff today, he told me he was in the hospital and been very ill. Totally explains the absence, spoke with him for a few on how to pack up the gate to keep it nice and straight, and seems as if all is well.I will let you guys know it all works out.

so this still doesnt explain why he hasnt replied to any pms that we have sent if he is home and able to be reached you would think he could type a few words and explain why he hasnt replied. im only out 10 bucks but a deal is a deal im glad it was only a 10 spot .i understand that things happen to people but he's got to have someone able to handle his afairs .

Well guys here's my side of the story. For what ever it is worth. Byrd did pay me promptly through Paypal. I was not feeling very good so I went to the hospital. The next thing they inform me I am very sick with a bad sinus infection and Broncitus. Long story short I was pretty ill. I am sorry for any inconvinence this caused to anyone. As far as groundhog goes,I never recieved his money order. I sures the hell am not out to screw anyone especially over $10 so I PM'd him and told him to PM me his ship to info and I would send him the light anyway even without getting his payment. As far as byrd goes I have issued him a full refund of his payment through Paypal and have decided not to sell anything on the site anymore. As far as hotrodmtodd goes,he is one of the few who stuck up for me and his items are on the way to him. I am also going to issue him a refund of his payment. In other words I am giving him his stuff for free. I have met some great people on this website and I am sure I will meet many more. But I will not be selling anymore items on here. Yeah the refund has been initiated,but no money yet, you did not have to wait for your money, so why I am having to wait for my refund??? You have/still have my $$ for almost a month now( I paid you on 4/16/07, today is 5/12/07 and no $$$ yet), you expect us to believe you were in the hospital the whole time? Come one how niave do you think we are?

You know what is really funny,after over 3 weeks I had to contact you AT YOUR JOB TO GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU, AFTER AT LEAST 4 OR 5 pm'S AND A FEW EMAILS AND A PAYPAL DISPUTE, WHY WOULD THAT BE,IF YOU ARE SUCH AND UPSTANDING GUY??? (BTW thank you to the member who was nice enough to PM your work # so I could track you down)Then you give me a story about being sick and how you are afraid to ship it. I gave you an easy solution and you still backed out on the deal. If you put something up for sale and are willing to ship as stated in your thread, you should be prepared to do so, WHY IS THAT SOOOO HARD?????

WOW, you mean someone is actually getting their parts(hotrodntodd) NOBODY cares about his so called FREE parts,(just your way of trying to save face with this), all I wanted what was agreed upon and the parts I PAID FOR shipped to me, to much to ask? It already has been brought to the admins, and we contacted the user and have received a Pm with the same information about illness. With the refund still being out there and parts still not received the account suspended until matters are taken care of. Please email using the contact us link with tracking numbers or paypal receipts to clear this up. I am very sorry you were ill, things like this do happen, but with all the scams on the internet we need proof of this being taken care of.
