and PM recieved.
I can't remember which way it was, but there was a mid year chainge on the 69 door panels. I have one panel with, and one without on my 70. (I know... wrong door panels, but NO ONE has busted me out on it)
GMC also had the same thing... some with the lettering, some without.

...and that`s prolly why I can`t recall seeing GMC embossed on a`69.Thanks Andy.
Sb69chevy,I figure from what you`ve told me the p.o. just replaced the windshield/back glass gasket with the plain black.He either wanted that look of because the stainless moulding is hard to get installed right.
