Re: What to do? Wife wants in!!
This is the Vette I built that she used to drive. She is thinking a little bit lighter that this though.

Re: What to do? Wife wants in!!
Hey Carlos i know where there is a good yellow 70 model ac cab with title about a hour from you. The guy might make you a deal since it is for your wife. Good luck on truck. I know how it is to have 3-4 going at one time.

Re: What to do? Wife wants in!!
Pretty cool when the wife is enthusiastic about trucks. I was going to sell the K25 but earlier this year my wife asked me to build it up for her to use as her horse trailer puller. Nice to have approval to build a truck up right.

Re: What to do? Wife wants in!!
Man you guys with "truck" wives better appreciate it. If I gave my wife half a chance she would probably have a yard sale with my truck and it's parts. I was talking to her about possibly getting a new vehicle for her and the kids in the next year and mentioned an older burb, she wouldn't even consider it. Told her possibly an older wagon and she simply rolled her eyes. All I ever hear is how she'll be glad when it's done. I'm not telling her that I am not sure if any project is ever "done". ..........................................Bamm!

Re: What to do? Wife wants in!!
Lucky fellow! Mrs. Zonaman's actaully intimidated by the truck! Wants a Mercedes 560SL!
Nice ride but they ain't cheap to keep! Tried to talk her into a 70' s vintage Camero or a Skylark But no dice. I'm wondering if she'd go for a Jaguar XJ6 with the GM drive train conversion:

Re: What to do? Wife wants in!!
Okay here are the pics as promised. Some of the guys in the shop were asking what I was going to do to the truck and were very optomistic when I told them it was for the wife. They said they would jump in and help since I trying to get two done already for Goodguys. May come around better than I thought!!

Re: What to do? Wife wants in!!
Okay, the cab I went to go look at tonight was nice enough to work with and has two new aftermarket doors on it. It has the front and back glass, all of the side glass, regulators, trim panels, dash pad, a/c dash uncut, steering column, wiring and such. It was a cheyenne cab with rear cargo lamp. I also bought the cleanest, straightest tailgate I have ever seen. I paid 750.00 for all of it. I have to go and remove the cab this weekend. Looks like we are on our way with this one too. Let's see if I can get all three done for Goodguys!!

Re: What to do? Wife wants in!!
Nice try but it will take a little longer to get the Blazer done what I want to do. That one is going on a rotisserie which is what I am waiting for. Have to get the truck out of the garage first. You will know when that one is getting done. It needs a step brother so you better start looking Ken.
