I didn't for the longest time either, then I started seeing some real high horsepower modified Z06 Corvettes with black wheels and just couldn't get over how incredibly dark and sinister the cars looked. I immediately jumped onto the black wheel bandwagon.

Your truck is very cool, What happens' in Sherwood on th 9th? Do you ever come down to the Beach's cruise in every wed. during the summer over at PIR? Live music, beer, 500+ bad A$$ Hot Rods, drag racing ect. It's pretty amazing stuff for the middle of the week.

Your truck is awesome! Your son's, on the other hand, well at least it's American! What happened? Too many time outs and not enough beatings!

you havent done anything wrong. Just feel blessed & grateful that he has a career path & has a job. whether he drives a ford , ricer etc. at least hes not stealing from you for drugs, asking you to bail him out of jail, keeping a job etc. Ididnt think Iwas doing anything wrong either but whatever . give your son a hug for me. Ihave nothing but respect for him. Love your truck by the way .

Ditto on the "proud of your son" thing.

Could I get his name? Last time I was in your neck of the woods on my motorcycle, the roundhats in the air stopped two of us.

I said "...hey I pay your salary"....Maybe I'd have been better off to say, "Hey, I know boatpuller's son".....

Naw. You better not give me his name. If I used it in vane, it couldn't be good for his new career.

Re: where did i go wrong?

There is a very good reason why my garage is full of vintage Chevy and GMC stuff, while my driveway has 2 late model Fords in it (F-150, F-250)
I work out of my truck and the Ford works better, tows better and lasts longer than my counterparts with late model Chevy's. (and i have had both, and my yearly mileage is 50 - 60,000) I don't know where Chevy dropped the ball, --- oh well - thats another subject entirely

But when i want to have a fun weekend -- I jump in my old Blazer or C-10 and motor down the road. Or work on my 69 GMC project - thats relaxing too. Besides the Ford products from the 60's up till 1996 were just ungainly and hideous from my perspective -- so who would want to turn a wrench on 'em

At least in my garage - there's room for both, but they have different uses
