Re: My 4-link install
I'll be running leaf springs as well and would like to know the difference, as I'm no suspension buff. Thanks

Re: My 4-link install
the 4 link the rear will make the car feel more controllable in corners cause it wont be shifting like the stock setup with leafsprings would do without the links .
you can dail in a 4 link to plant the tires harder during accelleration if youre realy intoo the mecanics of that leafsprings coil up under extreme accelleration causing the pinion to hit the bottom of the car in some cases and make the rearend bounce

Re: My 4-link install
Well I just looked and realized I never posted a finished picture of my truck. The ride is a lot better and height changes are fun to play with. Just picked up a set of shock waves for the front so I guess thats a next project. Also I"m going to have to tub the rear as the calipers touch the box when lowered.
That will allow a bigger tire for the rear as well. Brian ...

Re: My 4-link install
Brian,
I was looking at the four link with the bags, can you tell me what type of brackets those are for the bags? Did it come with the kit or did you get them seperately, Tri5 |

Re: My 4-link install
Very nice truck man! I envy your finished product. We don't talk to much about our '54 as your sig says it all. Being 2 times over you budget is a sore subject here at home. Congratulations on a job well done!
