I've been wishing for a windshield squirter to a long while now, I didn't know any 60-66 had them. I figured I'd have to adapt something to fit. Where did they mount the squirter nozzles? Can you post a pic or two showing the squirters and how/where the pump and resevoir is mounted? Whaat did they use for a pump switch?

Every '64-'66 Chevy truck I have, has a two-speed wiper switch and a washer fluid resevoir. The washer switch is the silver button on the dash-mounted wiper motor switch. These photos show the two-speed wiper switch and the fluid resevoir bottle, mounted on the radiator support between the radiator and the horn, above the voltage regulator. The wiper fluid nozzles are mounted below the cowl valance and feed by two rubber hoses from the pump/wiper motor under the dash. These can be seen in the photo, as well.

Thanks LilRed, yes helpful and interesting.

My wiper switch is two speeds: On and Off.

Now that I know they exist, I'm going to look for a switch like yours, and all the stuff to go with it.

If you have the patience for one more pic, I'd like to see where the squirters are installed (on the hood, on the cowl piece between hood and windshield, some place else creative?)

A hazard light switch was an available option on the '64-'66 Chevy trucks. I am not sure about the '60-'63. I see them on eBay all the time, however they go for a pretty penny. I have a '64 Chevy C10 lwb fleet with factory cab lights, also available as a dealer option, and factory emergence flashers.

These options are also listed in the Dealer Option literature I have collected for the '64-'66 Chevy trucks.

Check eBay and your local salvage yard. I believe they were the same for many of the Novas and Impalas, as well as trucks of the same years.

Hey Tony, what is up? I can't believe you are selling your '66 4X4 on ebay. I hope that you are selling it because you found something that is nicer. Reading this thread you only took delivery last July 4th. Wow, I hope that you are not getting out of the 64-66 hobby as I see you are selling one of your other '65 trucks on this board and also on ebay.
