Re: beautiful custom truck!
$1,000 air cleaner, Heck look at the dang 15,000 dollar interior. I have those same Paul Atkins door handles though. That interior is absolutely spectacular with the faux bucket stitching in the bench back. Man, that thing is freakin awesome. I would shoot a feature on that thing if I could find it.

Re: beautiful custom truck!
i don't think those aren't "faux" buckets ... look closer ... that is a surround built into the rear wall and the bucket seats are inset into that surround.
This is quite popular with the street rod crowd, especially the Speedstar / Alloway-style Hi-boys ... of which Mr. Atkins does quite a few ... I suspect that's where this idea came from. Last edited by Shane; 06-25-2007 at 02:46 PM. |

Re: beautiful custom truck!
I actually know Paul pretty well. Well, what I mena is the stitching is in the form of buckets and faux means fake ( appearence) The stitching looks like the contour of buckets giving the fake appearence. I actually own a few street rods and they are a bench with tight shaped foam and stitching thta looks like buckets. I had this option on my last ride.
