Re: Started the 4x4 build yesterday

The truck turned out great Joe! Are you going to use the bumper guards and if not what are you doing with them?I think some bumper guards and some hooks would finish it off! I'm just curious, what do you think you'll sell it for?

Re: Started the 4x4 build yesterday

Joe, Paint the hood & polish the firewall. Did you ever imagine it would turn out this good? It is just outstanding! Looks excellent. You say $10-$12K, I don't know what the market will bear, but $10,000 is a bargain and we've both seen crappy 4 x 4's bring higher on ebay.

Re: Started the 4x4 build yesterday

Joe
I would say your right in the ball park. The one on eBay in Iowa a month ago brought about $6500 and it was not as clean as yours by any means. It happens to be my color but for me I would need factory air and my 72 GMC K25 does not have that either. That's why I have thought of a factory air body swap on that K20 chassis I got from you. I know I wouldn't part with my GMC for less than $7500. I like your factory hubcaps and white wheels. Very showroom look. Is that a spray on liner over the rails or a bed liner?
