Re: cheap trucks

I have found most of mine by word of mouth. Some times I'll be at the gas station filling up the old truck and a guy will come over and say something like "My uncles got one of those setting behind the barn, He would probably take a couple hundred bucks for it" Usually its a dud, but once in while you will find a keeper.

I think Ebay has ruined a lot of the good deals out there, Everyone thinks their 500 Dollar trucks are now worth $5000. My buddy recently looked at a pretty nice original 71 BB truck that that the old guy wanted 2000 firm for.
He ended up buying it for the asking price. The old man kept claiming that the truck was worth $6000 on Ebay, whatever that is!

Re: cheap trucks

My neighbor and I took my 69 to advance auto for a parts run. A guy told us about a 68 his brother had. $400.00 and about an hour to get it running now he's got it.
Right place, right time.
