Sure, it'd be a sweet set up but you'd need to replace the floor at a minimum.

If you end up parting the suburban and the hubcaps are decent I would be interested. Thanks.

nplocoman, They are called a "Flat Rate Box" at the post office. The boxes are free just pick some up at the post office. There are two sizes 11 x 9 x 6" and 14 x 12 x 3-1/2. The latter one has a self adhesive flap so no need to tape. Priority shipping, either box is $8.95. If you add delivery confirmation, it is $0.65 extra and $1.65 extra if you add $50.00 insurance.

As you see the boxes are not big but if you send something heavy and you could fit it in the box you come out ahead. If I can't fit it in the flat rate box and it is over 3# I usually ship Fedex unless I don't want to drive that far.

The only reason I did these grab bags is I wanted to get rid of the most stuff without working too hard and the flat rate boxes made that possible, not having to measure, weigh, get shipping cost, etc.

I wonder if the complete floor kits already being made for the trucks/blazers would work?

Re: Parts Yard Meets Metal Dumpster

I now only need passenger side A/C vent and controls if you have

Cut down doors are OK if they have no rust, my doors are rust free but PO welded up the window frame.

Jack stuff

I am going to carlisle next weekend but could come up to pick stuff up the next week or weekend after if you/I can reach an agreement.

Thanks, I am not in a rush
Mark

Re: Parts Yard Meets Metal Dumpster

Any 2WD 'Burbs for sale??? Looking for a red one, with 5-lug wheels....maybe a Panel would be cool?

What about serious question: Do you have a good quality tilt-column? I've been waiting for a Brothers Trucks backorder (about 2 months and counting)

Maybe if you have a trailer you could haul some of the bigger stuff south for those that may want parts?

These blazer doors aren't rust free, not trash but far from rust 'free'

No tilts, used em all already

Re: Parts Yard Meets Metal Dumpster

I have no trailer. I have a GMC Safari mini van. If I come to get some stuff from you I wouldn't mind bringing some stuff down here if they were to be picked up fairly quickly. I have no place for storage.

I guess I am down to just the jack stuff, maybe a filler tube, and any A/c vent parts?? which I could all fit in my motorcycle. I am still willing to help out a board member with bringing some stuff to Mass if it helps someone out?

Re: Parts Yard Meets Metal Dumpster

I would like the black middle seat belt set and how much for those sport mirrors?

I'm also looking for a rebuildable 4 barrel carb, preferably a spreadbore. I'm not too particular on brand, as long as it is useable. Got any HEI distributors laying around? How about tranny coolers?

Re: Parts Yard Meets Metal Dumpster

Kurt,

OK...OK....no tilt columns, then what about a set of front inner fender wells? That's a simple one, right? Maybe a salvageable factory wiring harness including fuse block???

Your (I believe) 3rd in line for a set of inners, wiring harness sounds doable.

When's the panel going to wanna head your way?

Do you have another gear indicator for the '69-'72 non-tilt auto column. Thanks, Lane.
